With the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the team of Dr. Shin-Ku Lee, a researcher at the Energy Technology and Strategy Research Center of National Cheng Kung University, developed the atmospheric drying method to prepare aerogel with the "Development of high thermal performance and cost-effective aerogel materials", replacing the traditional high-cost supercritical drying process and Surface modification steps for the improvement of production efficiency, and got patents from the Republic of China, the United States, Japan, and Germany. Based on the excellent results, the team is planning to startup a new company for expanding the production scale to fulfill customers demand.
